The Room That Wasn’t There is a psychological short film about Elio, a reclusive painter struggling to be seen in a world obsessed with noise, imitation, and superficial fame. As his work goes unnoticed, he spirals into a surreal space where time bends and mirror-masked versions of himself begin to appear. Trapped between memory and illusion, Elio confronts the quiet collapse of his identity and the haunting possibility that the room he’s trying to escape was never real — or worse, a reflection of who he’s become.
